EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS WORK EXPERIENCE SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES

 

Matric or equivalent

 

  • Post graduate qualification advantageous
  • Minimum of 5 years’ Operator/GM experience in relevant Franchise restaurant environment
  • Experience with hospitality related computer systems (Pilot)
  • Experience with the OHS Act
  • Experience with the hospitality industry standards and procedures
  • Extensive computer experience (MS Office)
  • Experience with financial reporting, setting budgets and monitoring performance against budgets

  • Execute daily tasks and work instructions according to relevant Procedures and instructions from Owners

 

BUDGETS

  • Achieve or exceed all financial budgets

FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION

 

  • Comply with all relevant management reporting processes
  • Manage all the financial procedures of the Restaurants
  • Ensure all outstanding Debtors / Accounts are recovered timeously
  • Review and authorize all transactions reflected on the bank statements
  • Review and authorize creditor payments
  • Interpret management reports, review monthly management accounts
  • Manage the Restaurants stock levels to required standards, conduct stock counts and comment on variances & take relevant action
  • Control and manage food costs and ensure that stipulated cost of sales are achieved
  • Budgets achieved
  • Adherence to reporting processes & on-time delivery

ENSURE APPOINTED “SAFETY OFFICER” COMPLIES WITH THE

BELOW AND REPORTS ALL INFORMATION TO YOU…..

 

  • Ensure knowledge of restaurants emergency procedures, where all emergency shut-offs and exits are located and assist guests when necessary in case of an emergency
  • Facilitate all emergency response training and health and safety training for all staff
  • Ensure that restaurants are safe, clean and healthy environment at all times
  • Comply with Franchisor & Government health & safety requirements
  • Report any unsafe or unhealthy situations to management and act upon it
  • Ensure that the requirements of the OHS Act are complied with by all team members

GENERAL

  • Perform all duties, within your vocational abilities, as requested
  • Carry out any other ad hoc duties as and when required by management
  • Liaise with different personnel, as is required, to prevent delays and on-time delivery
  • Ensure high quality standards of work are adhered to at all time
