Knowledge & Experience

Applicable quality management experience, preferably in fruit agriculture.

·         5 or more years integrated exposure

·         Knowledge of the fruit agricultural industry

·         BRC training and experience

·         HACCP training and experience

·         AVCASA will be an advantage

·         Internal Auditing Training and experience

·         Good understanding of agricultural exports

·         Extensive understanding of the portfolio of Quality Management

·         General business acumen

·         Product knowledge and product ranges

·         Intermediate usage of Microsoft Office

Key Performance Areas

  1. Manage, train and monitor the Food Safety Team
  2. Manage, implement, maintain and auditing of the Food Safety System
  3. Monitor and advise on performance of the Food Safety SystemManage, train and monitor the Quality TeamMonitoring and communication of all fruit quality standards to ensure the final product meets requirements and standards
  1. Manage inspections of quality personnel
  2. Liaise with managers and staff in the company to ensure the Quality System is functioning properly
  3. Develop, implement, maintain and improve quality systems
  4. Ensure compliance with packing guide
