3 SHIFT SYSTEM
REQUIREMENTS:
Qualified artisan having served a recognized apprenticeship.
• Proven 5 years maintenance experience within Automotive environment
• Must have good communication skills
• Must have extensive hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment including the use of a laptop PC to troubleshoot.
• Mechatronics will be an added advantage.
• Must have knowledge on pneumatic equipment.
• Must have knowledge on hydraulic equipment.
• Must have knowledge on the following:
➢ Good knowledge of traceability systems
➢ Good knowledge of engraving applications
➢ Good knowledge of camera systems
➢ Good knowledge of leak test applications
➢ Good knowledge of variable and attribute data applications i.e. checking fixture
➢ Good knowledge of Safety relays, two hand controls & pilz relays.
BASIC JOB DESCRIPTION:
To effectively work as part of a core team of artisans, to ensure uptime of machinery and minimum downtime by means of maintaining machinery in the plant.
• High focus on all Production Lines, Ensuring uptime of Pushin Facilities & welding cells.
• Perform assigned maintenance inspections and procedures on machinery ensuring that PM’s are done.
• Repair breakdowns to machinery as assigned to by production.
• Must ensure that scrap is kept to a minimum.
• Ensure no lost time, injuries of self and personnel.
• Ensure compliance with HSE & automotive standards.
• Evaluate machinery for Continuous Improvements
Maintain PLC equipment & Electrical/Mechanical equipment for various applications but not exclusive to:
• Welding Fixtures
• Leak Test Units
• Checking Fixtures
• Various production applications
• Troubleshooting guides
• Improvement initiatives
