To deliver business growth and achieve annual revenue targets through effective time management and in line with the company’s vision and strategy. This will involve developing revenue from sales of generators and lighting towers to customers and renting generators of between 60kVA-1,2750kVA. This role predominately focuses on driving sales in the manufacturing, property, industrial, construction, and retail sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Identification of key Companies and Prospects in target sectors.
- Cold Calling, Identify Prospects, Pre Qualify Leads, New Business Prospecting & Opening New Doors
- Development of new Prospects:
- Understanding Prospect’s current situation, historical information, purchase drivers, and competitive landscape.
- Introducing the brand
- Educating the Prospect on technical benefits, pricing points, and key differentiators – warranty terms, OEM parts, and subsidiary pricing.
- Daily sales and rental of the products and services in the region.
- Cold calling, scheduling, and meeting clients daily.
- Qualifying, quoting, and securing the sales of products and services.
- Servicing New customers to drive account growth and maintaining a good relationship at all levels.
- Lead generation from effective prospecting.
- Providing weekly feedback on sales activities to management.
- Effective management of individual time to ensure adequate coverage of key sectors and geographies.
- Effective use of RED system and CRM.
- Clear proposals and offers for customers.
- Securing orders acceptable to terms and conditions.
- Driving after-sales and service contracts wherever possible.
- Gathering competitor information and assisting the SM and BDD in compiling accurate competitor analysis.
- Key account management and building long-lasting client relationships.
- Assist with the annual marketing plan and hands-on involvement with events where applicable.

Person Specification
- Ability to travel regularly in SA and across the region.
- Preferably a degree qualification
- 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Strong focus on sales and service.
